Privacy policy for this website.
This policy explains how personal data is processed when you visit swarm-exec.cloud-surfers.net. For other services of the Cloud Surfers GmbH, the notices linked there apply.
1. Controller

2. Hosting and Server Log Files
The website is operated on our own infrastructure. When it is accessed, the web server processes technically necessary access data that your browser transmits:
- IP address of the requesting device,
- date and time of access,
- requested resource and HTTP status code,
- amount of data transferred,
- referring page (referrer) as well as browser and operating system identifier (user agent).
The purpose is the delivery, stability and security of the service. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a secure, functioning operation). The log data is stored only for as long as it is necessary for these purposes.
3. Audience Measurement with a Self-Hosted Tool
To improve the service, we use our own, internally
operated analytics tool (Umami), which runs on our own
infrastructure at stats.cloud-surfers.net. The
analysis is deliberately data-minimizing:
- No cookies are set and no cross-device user profiles are created.
- The data remains on our own infrastructure; there is no disclosure to third parties and no transfer to third countries.
- IP addresses are not stored permanently.
- Aggregated usage data is collected, such as pages viewed, referring page, approximate region of origin as well as browser and device type.
The purpose is to understand usage and to further develop the website. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a needs-based design). Since no cookies or comparable techniques are used on your device, no consent is required for this.
4. Session Recording (Session Replay)
In addition to audience measurement, we use a function of the same
self-hosted tool (Umami, stats.cloud-surfers.net)
for the recording of individual sessions, in order to
trace the course of a visit and to improve the usability of the pages.
In particular, the following are recorded:
- mouse and pointer movements, clicks and scrolling behavior,
- page changes and the content accessed within the website,
- technical details such as window and screen size, browser and device type.
This processing also takes place exclusively on our own infrastructure; there is no disclosure to third parties and no transfer to third countries, and no cross-device profiles are created. This website consists exclusively of publicly accessible information pages and contains no forms for entering personal data.
Session recording goes beyond mere audience measurement. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in an understandable and user-friendly design of the service (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). You can object to this processing at any time with effect for the future (Art. 21 GDPR); to do so, please contact the contact address named under item 1.
5. External Links
The website links to external services (including the GitLab repository and Docker Hub). If you follow such a link, you leave this page; we have no influence over the processing that takes place there. For Docker Hub (Docker, Inc., USA) this may involve a transfer to a third country. The privacy notices of the respective provider apply.
6. Your Rights
Within the scope of the statutory requirements, you have the right to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) as well as a right to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21 GDPR).
